I couldn't sleep at all over the last 24 hours...
So what do I do instead of trying to get some rest? I get up at 6am and start watching the Turtles movies, and the first 8 episodes of the 1989 cartoon. The most important cartoon of my childhood!
With Michael Bay's re-telling of the Turtles coming in the near future, many Turtle fans are TERRIFIED. So, I decided to do this rendition of my favourite Turtle, Raphael. I wanted to test myself a bit, so has to be better then what Bay will have planned. A design by a FAN, for the FANS!
I wanted to capture 4 main themes in this picture: to stay true to the original comics/cartoon, realistic modern ninja gear, correct turtle anatomy, and a general level of awesomeness!
I hope it worked!
